HI! My name is Wendi, and I am an Early Childhood Special Education Instructor. This means that I work with young children, from Birth through entering Kindergarten, who have a variety of medical conditions or other developmental delays which lead them to have difficulties learning. My job is very challenging, but it is also very rewarding to watch a child gain new skills and abilities.

I live in Watertown, South Dakota, where I have lived for most of my life (with the exception of when I was in college). I enjoy reading, walking, swimming, bicycling, spending time with my nieces and nephews, and riding with my husband on his motorcycle. My husband, Daren, was also raised in Watertown. He is a draftsman, drawing utility-truck bodies for businesses throughout the United States. We have been married 6 years.  I have one sister; she and her husband have five children. My husband has one brother, who is married with one son. We are very lucky to have both sets of our parents and all our siblings living in the same town as we do.
